# RISE Names

Human-readable identity infrastructure for the RISE ecosystem.

RISE Names turns long, unreadable wallet addresses into simple, human-readable identities for the RISE ecosystem.

Instead of sending assets to:

**`0x7a91c9d2...`**

Users can own and use:

* <kbd>sam.rise</kbd>
* <kbd>apoorv.rise</kbd>
* <kbd>sashaaa.rise</kbd>
* <kbd>vitalik.rise</kbd>

But RISE Names is more than a naming service.

It is the **identity layer for RISE**, built to make wallets, payments, launches, applications and onchain interactions easier to use.

***

#### The Identity Layer for RISE

Wallet addresses were never designed for humans. They are difficult to remember, difficult to share and easy to get wrong.

RISE Names replaces that experience with recognizable identities that can follow users throughout the ecosystem.

A **.rise** name can be used to:

* Receive native assets and tokens
* Identify wallets across Stage0
* Participate in launches
* Build an onchain reputation
* Represent creators, communities and projects
* Be displayed by integrated dApps and explorers

The goal is simple:

> **Every user on RISE should have a recognizable onchain identity.**

***

#### Built Into Stage0

RISE Names is deeply integrated into Stage0 rather than existing as a standalone naming product.

Your name can appear throughout the Stage0 experience, including:

* Wallet connections
* Dashboards
* Token launches
* NFT launches
* Airdrops and multi-send
* Distribution tools
* Launch participation
* User activity

Instead of seeing:

`0x82d1aa2...`

you can see: ***sam.rise***

Identity becomes part of the experience rather than another layer users have to think about.

***

#### Send to a Name

RISE Names makes onchain transfers human-readable.

Instead of copying and pasting wallet addresses, users can send assets directly to a `.rise` name.

For example:

**Send USDR → `sam.rise`**

Names can be used as the destination for supported transfers and distributions, reducing the friction and error risk associated with raw wallet addresses.

***

#### Your Name Across the Ecosystem

RISE Names isn't meant to live inside Stage0 alone.

We've built a **RISE Names API** that allows other applications to resolve and display `.rise` identities.

This means dApps, explorers and other ecosystem infrastructure can integrate RISE Names directly into their own products.

A wallet address can become:

`sam.rise`

across the RISE ecosystem, not just on Stage0.

This is the foundation for making `.rise` a shared identity standard across RISE.

***

### Marketplace

RISE Names includes a native marketplace for buying and selling names.

Users can:

* List names for fixed-price sale
* Create and participate in auctions
* Place bids
* Track bidding activity
* Watch names they're interested in
* Receive email notifications for relevant activity

This gives <kbd>.rise</kbd> names a secondary market and turns desirable identities into onchain assets of their own.

***

#### Pricing Model

**Standard Domains**

Names with **5 or more characters** are available at:

**$5/year**

Examples:

* `builder.rise`
* `creator.rise`
* `community.rise`

#### Premium Names

Shorter and more desirable names carry premium pricing.

* **4-character names:** Premium pricing
* **3-character names:** Higher premium pricing
* **2-character names:** Reserved / auction-based

Certain names may also be reserved because of their strategic, ecosystem or impersonation-sensitive nature.

These can include:

* Ecosystem names
* Project names
* Notable identities
* Single-character names
* Two-character names
* Numbers and vanity names
* Names requiring impersonation protection

Some reserved names may be allocated directly to ecosystem participants or made available through auctions.

***

#### The Moat

RISE Names is not being built as an isolated product.

Its advantage comes from native ecosystem integration.

#### **Core Advantages**

**Launch-Native Identity**

Names or Domains are tied directly to:

* Launch participation
* NFT ownership
* Distribution systems
* Ecosystem activity

**Distribution Through Stage0**

Stage0 acts as the distribution engine for RISE Names through:

* Launches
* NFTs
* Airdrops
* Dashboard onboarding
* Ecosystem tooling

**Reputation Layer**

Over time, domains evolve into:

* Reputation profiles
* Creator identities
* Launch participation passports
* Ecosystem social graphs
